OUT AND ABOUT
The Panorama scenic escarpment is packed with vistas of God's Window, The Pinnacle, Bourkes Luck Potholes and the many waterfalls of the area. The brooding story of the lost voortrekker's sadness and happiness wrapped up in the history of the Blyde and Treur rivers.
Bridal Veil, Horseshoe, Sabie, MacMac, Forest, Berlin, Lisbon, Lone Creek and last but not least Sabi Star falls offer a veritable waterfall wonderland along this same route. |

Retrace the footsteps of Sir Percy Fitzpatrick and his famous dog Jock of the Bushveld, from Pilgrims Rest along the oldest road to the Lowveld and on to the Kruger National Park, the last outpost of the Creator's Eden, where the roar of the Lion and the haunting cry of the Fish Eagle still echo.
Nearby, Sabie Horse Trails offer a 1, 2, 3 hour, or full-day horse trail
along the scenic Sabie River.
The Sabie Country Club offers our guests access to Golf, Squash,
Tennis and Bowls.

At the end of the day return to Sabi Star for a braai and a peaceful evening around your camp fire. Should it be raining, you can enjoy the self catering Boma facilities with the dry pub and communal braais. Glimpse the splendour of the moon rise over the cliffs at the time of the full moon, or at the dark of the moon; the milky way glimmering in the clear African sky. |
